House project

 I loved this project so much. I thought it was going to be a lot harder then it was. I liked how we got to put our own touch on the house by adding details to the house. This was my favorite project the whole quarter. Also i added a Christmas tree on the inside because Christmas is super soon.

Website Projet

This is my website project. At the start I was really worried that I wouldn't understand how to do it. But Im not gonna lie I did have some problems but I asked people to help me and then I figured it out. I learned how to work dream weaver or at least a part of it. I think was a good break from animation. But i think if I was told to explain it to someone and teach them about dream weaver that I wouldn't be able to do that. But I found it very fun. It really let you make it the way you would want your website.

Dinning Room

The dinning room is made up of 4 chairs and a table. The legs of the chairs were all copys of each other. The project was hard when we had to line up the legs with each other but other than that it was really easy. Then for the table was really easy. For mine i used the push and pull tool to make the table.But other then that the project was super fun and easy.

Dog House

The Dog house was made in SketchUp, the project was hard at the start but once you a the hang of it it was really easy and fun. I loved that we were able to put our own spin on the project by picking the outside and the roofing. We had to inset the walls to have trim around the whole house. also the pull and push toll was used a lot during the project.

Bouncing Ball with Arcs

I loved this project. Again we used squash and stretch. Squash was used with the ball would hit my name.  Then stretch when the ball would pick up speed when falling. Ease in and ease out was also used in the animation when the ball would be falling and going back up again. Then at the end i 

My name animation

This project wasn't that hard for me to create but I really loved it. We used the frame animation. Then erase parts of the text and copy the layer. Then reversed the frames to make the effect like I'm are writing my name.

Ten Words

I really enjoyed this project. We created this using the video timeline other then the frame animation. By far one of my fav projects.

Margaret's Personality Type

My Personality Type

My personality type is ISFJ. Im an intovert, sensing, feeling, and judging. ISFJ kind of is me but its not fully me. I have a moderate preference of introversion over extroversion with a 41% of introvert. I don't have a preference of sensing and intuition with a 3% of sensing. I have a slight preference of feeling over think with a 9%. I have a moderate preference of judging over perceiving with a 25%. ISFJ make up 14% of the population. 19% or women and 8% are men.  My personality type said that Im most like Emma Watson.

Does it Describe Me?

Im surprised on how well this describes me actually. There are some parts that aren't me but for the most part it is me. I find it odd that i would be the must likely to suffer heart disease. But I'm glad that is said that i would end up with major in collage. But it also says that i watch tv at least three hours a day, when I never watch tv. It makes me sad that they said that I would make the least amount of income out of the type. When I grow up I want to work in the medical field and it said that my type is most likely to work in the medical field also. So i think this describes me well but is it fully me.

It also makes know that why I act the way I do because of my personality type. It say that I work hard and get along rally well with others which would be a reason why I love working in groups. I also tend to go with a way that I've done is the as so that would be a reason why I tend to do the same thing over and over agin. Also establishing a easy way to get things done and when we need them done in order to proceed with the project. It crazy on how it is so me.

                                  

What I learned

I learned the reason why I am. I never really thought these test were real and they just put up a type and say thats you. But I really think that it is truly me. I've learned that i will have to work on some of the things that I'm not good at. But over all i learned a lot for taking these test.

Golden Retriever

First of all I find this really funny because I love dogs so much, I'm more emotional about dogs then I am humans. Not kidding. But this test was again me. Some of the things that really stood out to me was that I'm very emotional, has a hard time saying what is wrong, and that i want to be loved by everyone. All of these things are so me. I tend to have a hard time saying with is wrong cause I don't want to sound like a want to sound needy all of the time. Also that i wish that i was perfect and that people would like me more. But I know that no ones perfect so i can be but some how i still tend to struggle over that.  Also that I'm really soft on people and i tend to forgive people for hurting me when i shouldn't give them a chance. I just am in awh of how true this is.

     About the Animation

 This is my first animation I think it turned out really well. In this project we used the principle squash and stretch. Also the principle of ease in and ease out I used. We made the animation in photoshop using layers. I understand more about photoshop after this. I learned how to make a ball look 3D. I really enjoyed this project.

What the Article is About?

"They loved your GPA, then they saw your Tweets" by Natasha Singer was an article about how your social media could affect wether or not you get into the college of your dreams. Many colleges look at social media when someone looks at their college. Having a good GPA isn't going to be they only thing they base off of. Some high schools have taught students to delete anything on social media that could turn someone off.  With the college admission officers becoming younger and younger they are finding way to look at everyones social media wether its private or not. 

What Surprised Me?

I thought it was weird that they would have you attend they college because of the social media. It could have ben a one time thing that caused you to tweet that way or post something about it. Also you could be a great student and your social media isn't. They shouldn't base weather or not you join their college cause of the social media. Your going to school to learn not to learn what your doing wrong on social media. They shouldn't compare social media and school together. There two separate ideas and totally different. I don't think it is right to a certain place. 

What Confused Me?

The article had some confusing parts. But I'm really confused on the fact that they don't really care about anything else other then you GPA. if you want to go to the school it should be based on school not thing out of school.

Affect on my Social Media 

I have known that I need to be careful with what I post. Some people should read this article because they should know that people will look at your social media and judge you. Even if you delete it will still be able to be found. But I know what is okay to post and what isn't okay. 

Photo Shop

 This Project was my least favorite to make. I thought it was really confusing. But sometimes the struggle is what you need. I don't think this project is nice. I think it just looks really messy. the magic lasso tool we used on this one to cut out the raven head.

I think the first project is the best one. Its very simple and clean. I enjoyed every part of this project. It just introduced photoshop.

 This project reminded me of elementary school with the gradient. I like the look of the letters also. I couldn't find the perfect blue. It took me the longest to figure out.

This was my fav one to do out of all the photoshop project. I thought that you could really make it your own. The clone stamp was really fun to play with also. This is by far my favorite project out of all the graphic design

My Logo

I had a huge mind block when I was trying to figure out my logo. I wanted something that would stand out. But i also didn't want it to be to busy. I looked online at many different logos trying to come up with an idea. Then I was looking at homecoming dresses and many had a full skirt. I wanted to have my letter on top of it. So I made a the lines with an arch tool to make it look like a skirt, then put my letter on top. I love clothes so i feel like this logo really describes me

PathFinder

For the blue part I used the minus tool using a rectangle and a circle. Then
for the green part I used extude tool. I really wanted to use this tool. Adding
the blue adds a good contrast and I think this is a good idea for the first time
I've used pathfinder.

Anatomy of a Font

The font that I got though the test/quiz was Archer Hairline. I really love this font and I wish my handwriting was like this. First I started with typing out my name and adding the 5 lines. Then I added all of the extra parts of the font. I was looking online at different examples and how I wanted to make mine look. I saw one with dots where they wanted to point out. The idea was really smart so I did it. I find that mine looks very nice and is clean looking and you can understand it. The quiz also gave you four words that describe you. The words I got are emotional, progressive, disciplined, and understated. These words actually are correct. I am very emotional when dogs are involved and close family and friends. I am very understated when I just meet you or don't really feel like i can be myself around you. I don't really make a big deal about a lot of things. I think I'm very progressive and that overtime I grow in areas that I just learned. I am very disciplined and if I don't do something good then I'm very hard on myself. Also my parents are very disciplined.

Cool Color Wheel

My Color Wheel was very boring until I added the the swirls on the edges and in the middle. I feel like it add a fun detail. My color wheel was really lacking until I found the tool. This project was lots of fun and I really enjoyed making the color wheel. I asked the people around me if they liked my color wheel and what i should add. I understand more of the tools then I expected to in one project. i would make a different shape cause lots of people made the basic flower petal shape.i would add the swirls around the edges or in some way.I loved this project because you could express yourself in a way that people would sorta understand.

What is Graphic Design?

Graphic Design is the art of computers. I think its to catch someones eye. its a way to express yourself in a way that people would understand. some people express them selfs though dance, music and art. But someone people find it easier to express them selfs though the computer. People have made money off of graphic design. Graphic Design can be a job and a hobby. Graphic design is such a wide spread topic that people have a different view on it.
